This is so helpful. I use LastPass to manage passwords, so it was a pain to have to copy+paste my password every time I pushed to GitHub.

The windows equivalent of putting git credentials into the Mac Keychain - this is a wonderful tool. I have it on Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows server 2012 R2. Thank you!

Works. I installed it and the next time I was prompted to enter my username/password, it was by windows credentials manager. I was getting so sick of entering it each time.....thanks! I'm using it with Visual Studio Online.

Followed the installation instructions. I now can't run git without seeing these lines and I can't uninstall the f****** thing. github --credentials get: github: command not found git: 'credential-git-credential-winstore' is not a git command. See 'git --help'

Works as Expected with Git 1.8.3 on Windows Server 2012 connected with hosted TFS GIT repo. Would love to see Chocolatey package added! Nicely done. =)
